Each stone is unique and is laid with intention and purpose, creating a hand crafted, one of a kind structure.
I have been working professionally specializing as an artist in the craft of dry stone walling since 2008. I have built walls and structures in the UK, the US and Canada with some of the world’s top craftsmen.
I currently hold an advanced certification with the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain and journeyman certification through the Dry Stone Conservancy of Kentucky. I am also a certified dry stone walling instructor. I build in a traditional style using age old techniques and use local, reclaimed, or pre-existing materials for my pieces whenever possible.
I see the structures that I build as one-of-a-kind pieces of hand-crafted art and can personalize each one with a client’s preferences in mind. I was the recipient of the Ontario Arts Council Chalmer’s Arts Fellowship Award in 2019 and the Craft Award in 2017.
